About the event

The Study Group on Citizenship, Educational Transition and Coexistence (GECITEC) of the Policies, Languages ​​and Subjectivities in Education Program ( PLySE ) of FLACSO Argentina invites the academic community to the conference entitled: “Optional voting from the age of 16 in Latin America and Europe: democracies, demographic change, youth citizenships and educational systems” .


The meeting aims to outline the current situation, analyze the assessments, and discuss the current challenges surrounding the expansion of youth suffrage rights in both regions.


The activity will take place on Friday, July 3 at 11:00 a.m. in a hybrid format: in person at the Meeting Room (1st Floor) of FLACSO Argentina, and virtually via Zoom.
