International Conference on Migrant and Refugee Issues in Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean


The Centre for Language Learning (CLL) at The UWI St. Augustine is hosting its first-ever International Conference and Migration Fair, happening 8–11 December 2025.


Jointly organized with the Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics and supported by the EULAS Network, this conference will bring together scholars, professionals, and advocates to spotlight migration, education, and integration under the theme BEAM — Beaming light on Migration, Education, and Integration.


Expect a vibrant mix of keynotes, roundtables, workshops, and thought-provoking sessions on topics like cultural identity, policy, media, education, and migrant lived experiences!
